These are the rules of the road. Plain English where I can manage it, plain English where I can't. By using thatscrapshop.com or buying any file from this shop, you agree to them.
1. Who runs this shop
That Scrap Shop is a small independent digital design studio. The shop is run by one person (with help from her day job, two kids, and a sourdough starter that is, on balance, not doing well). The legal entity behind the shop is the individual operator — there is no parent company, no subsidiary, no investor pitch deck.
For anything that requires a formal response, email hello@thatscrapshop.com. Replies usually go out within 1–2 working days.
2. What you're buying
Every product in this shop is a digital file (or a bundle of files). Nothing physical is shipped. Once your order is confirmed and payment clears, we email you a ZIP with the files. You download them, you keep them — they're yours.
What you may do with the files is governed by the license terms. Short version: personal use, gifts, and small-business handmade sales are all fine. Reselling the raw digital files is not.
3. Pricing & payment
Prices are listed in US dollars on the catalogue pages. We don't currently charge VAT or sales tax — you're responsible for any local taxes that apply to your purchase. If you're in the UK or EU and we hit a threshold that requires us to collect VAT, we'll update this section before flipping the switch.
Payment is processed via a Stripe or PayPal link emailed to you after you submit the cart. We don't store card details on this site — there's no checkout form to type into.
4. Delivery
After payment clears, we email you the file(s). Most orders ship within an hour during the day; almost all within the same day. If you haven't received your files within 24 hours of paying, check your spam folder, then contact us.
Files are delivered exactly as advertised on the product page: SVG, PNG, PDF, DXF, PPTX, or JPG depending on what the listing says. We don't do "premium tier" upsells or watermark-free upgrades.
5. Refunds
Because digital downloads can't be returned once delivered, we don't offer refunds on files that work as described. However:
- If a file is corrupted, broken, or doesn't open, we replace it or refund — your call.
- If the design doesn't match its product page description, we refund.
- If you change your mind before downloading the file, we refund.
- Once you've downloaded and used the file, we can't refund — but we'll always try to make it right if there's a problem.
6. Intellectual property
Every design in this shop is hand-drawn by the shop owner. We hold copyright on every file. Your license tells you what you can do with them. Briefly: personal and small-business commercial use is included; resale or redistribution of the digital files is not.
If you spot a design somewhere that looks like ours being sold without permission, we'd appreciate a heads-up.
7. Liability
The files are provided as-is. We test every cut file on our own machine and every printable on our own printer before listing it, but we can't guarantee compatibility with every machine, software version, material, or future Cricut firmware update. If something doesn't work as expected, tell us and we'll do our best to help.
This shop's total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. We're not liable for any indirect damages (lost profits, lost business, ruined cardstock, etc.).
8. Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll bump the "Last updated" date below. Significant changes will be flagged on the home page for at least 30 days. Continued use of the shop after an update means you accept the new terms.
