Hi! I’m Lori from BoomersGirl Designs. I’ve been designing scrapbook kits (and occasional template packs) since 2012. For me, it’s a creative outlet as well as something I can do at home to help supplement our income. While my style is mostly cute and colorful, I like to change things up a bit now and then.
Right now, I’d have to say one of my favorite kits is my newest one, The Awesome 80s. I grew up in the eighties and it really was an amazing decade. This kit brings back feeling of nostalgia for sure.

A few of my other favorites are “Birthdays are Ruff” (the colors are fantastic and a lot of us can totally relate to the theme), “So Cheesy” and “Say Cheese!” (these are very versatile and can be used for tons of different occasions), “Love Never Fails” (it’s so inspirational) and “Not Today” (the cats are too cute and I think we can all relate to this one sometimes).

I’ve been scrapbooking since my oldest was a baby (he’s 28 now, so quite a long time). I started out with paper scrapbooking, but switched to digital several years later. I love digital scrapbooking because it takes up no space and the kits can be used over and over again so you get plenty of value for your money. I also like the flexibility it provides for recoloring, resizing and so much more!
Kit Used For Layout: His First Year
I have seven amazing children (5 girls and 2 boys) from age 15 months all the way up to 28 years old. I also have two beautiful grandsons. I create scrapbooks for each of my kids as well as family albums so I always have plenty to scrap about! I hope someday my kids will treasure the memories in their albums as much as I do.

Besides designing and scrapbooking, I’ve been a nurse for over 32 years and I love working with the elderly. I recently switched from Skilled Nursing to Memory Care / Assisted Living. It’s been a refreshing change!

My children, grandchildren and God are my inspirations. I strive to create family-friendly kits that honor all of them. I’ve always felt scrapbooking makes it (slightly) easier to watch my kids grow up (way too fast) knowing photos and memories are safely preserved for them and for future generations
